Day of spaces.

Visited the site for Expo 2015. Not a lot there at the moment, better get a move on concrete car parks and polluted waste ground isn't going to impress anyone!!

Finally decided on the site for my exhibition, so my building can now commence - watch this space!
Tuesday went met up with people at Stefano Boeri's studio to talk about master plan for Expo site and the Bosco Verticale Towers. There is a good article in Finacial times about the towers and eco/living architecture. Especially like the Dutch firm called MVRDV check them out - Pig City!

These towers are also another chapter of the Isola Art Center debate and the gentrification of that area.
This development isnt directly linked with the Expo but am looking at the bigger picture of change within the city and Milano as the focus of the project.

Statue of St Bartholomew in the Duomo, Milan - Also mentioned in Sir Francis Bacon's fictitious novel 'New Atlantis' as the reason Christianity came to an utopian island of scientific research.
Court my eye as is a stricking sculpture, here  he is seen wrapped in his own skin.
Sight seeing becomes strange relative connections to my work, coincidence or divine??
